Red Threads Calendar 2026

Red Threads: International Days of Resistance & Liberation is a calendar that showcases stories and events of people rising up for justice as the red threads connecting our past, present and future. People and movements of the Global South have been resisting imperialism in all forms, through strategies such as the nationalisation of resources and industries, armed uprisings, land reforms, the forging of international alliances, as well as the restructuring of economies. From the Haitian revolution to the Second Agrarian Reform of Cuba, from the Arusha Declaration of Tanzania to the recent Ansar Allah seizure of the ship “Galaxy Leader”, this calendar honours the courageous deeds of our comrades around the world.

All proceeds will be donated to the Gaza Mutual Aid Collective, the Union of Agricultural Work Committees, and a project for popular education in Gaza by the Alkarama Palestinian Women’s Movement and Samidoun.
